Mike David’s Spirit of Adventure
It was December 2000, the end of another good fiscal year. Businessman, photographer and world traveler Mike David sat back in his chair. His mind wandered from financial spread sheets to stone towers brushed with green, mist skirting their edges — Machu Picchu.
His memories took hold now, the slow tap of his fingers transforming into the deep beat of tribal drums. The music moved in time with the flames of a bonfire, seductive notes drifting upward into a star-filled African sky. Then the stories, so many to remember, bits of images and sound, all swirling into an unforgettable experience.
And then a different vision surfaced — an auditorium full of people, viewing the images, listening to the music and hearing the stories, a unique multi-sensory way to share his travels. Spirit of Adventure was born.
